First documented development snapshot
This is a summary of the current development state, not an announcement of a released application version. Future changes will be added here.
Editing & timeline
- Drag and drop media onto appropriate tracks and reuse source files.
- Multi-selection, group moves, copying and splitting at the playhead; reorder and duplicate tracks.
- Snapping to clip starts and ends, draggable fade handles, and automatic video/audio crossfades.
Preview & audio
- Native playback, playhead navigation and optional 720p/540p preview copies with progress and cleanup controls.
- Video sound gets a separate audio track. Track levels and mute settings also apply to exports.
- Playback and seeking have been revised; preview performance still depends on the computer and source media.
Subtitles & custom text
- Import SRT, VTT, LRC, SBV, TXT, TTML, ITT and DFXP, with each line represented as a cue.
- Style custom text with fonts, colors and backgrounds, position it in the preview, and load custom TTF/OTF fonts.
- Choose standard WebVTT or the YouTube VTT anchor model from Lyrics Studio, with guidance on differences in external players.
Export
- Full HD MP4 in 16:9 or 9:16 at 30 or 60 FPS.
- H.264, H.265 and NVIDIA encoders including AV1 on compatible hardware; adjustable quality and encoding effort.
- Frame and FPS progress, estimated file size and remembered export settings; separate SRT, VTT or both.
Projects & controls
- Save and reopen project information or packages with selected media; editing history can be included.
- Undo/redo counters, context menus, keyboard reference, and German or English UI.
- Rename projects, remove media, and jump to the beginning. The studio has its own application icon.
