Let your idea guide the edit
Room for every layer.
The current development version combines video editing, audio tools, subtitles and custom text. You choose what your project needs.
Make the cut.
Split selected clips at the playhead. Snap starts and ends to other clips. Overlapping video and audio clips get automatic crossfades.
Give subtitles their place.
Import SRT, VTT, LRC, SBV, TXT, TTML, ITT and DFXP. Each line becomes a cue. Supported formats retain their positioning and styling.
Your words on screen.
Add custom text, position it in the preview and choose fonts, colors and backgrounds. These titles become part of the exported video image.
Find the right balance.
Video sound gets its own audio track. Adjust levels, mute tracks and set fades. Track settings also apply to the export.
Pick up where you left off.
Save project information or a project with selected media files. Include editing history if you wish. Undo and redo help with every next step.

Subtitles and custom text serve different purposes.
Save additional subtitles as SRT, VTT or both. A compatible player can switch an embedded MP4 subtitle track on and off. Custom titles become part of the image. Styling and positioning of separate subtitles also depend on the player.
YouTube VTT anchors created by Lyrics Studio have a dedicated preview mode. Other players, including VLC, may interpret those positions differently.

Original, 720p or 540p: choose a preview resolution that suits your computer. Smaller preview copies are prepared locally and can be deleted from the studio. Original files stay unchanged.

Video Studio is currently being developed and tested. This page describes the features built so far. More effects and editing tools are planned. A public download is not available yet, and no release date has been announced.
